   I love the Christian concept of Immaculate Conception, as unproven as it may be. The  stained glass windows and art that it has inspired are more than enough to verify its existence for me. As the sun's light passes through a stained glass window without breaking it, so it is said that God entered the Virgin Mary to concieve Jesus. Leaves are like natural stained glass for me, immaculately impregnated and nourished by the light of our sun.
